I got both of these by Joanne Slorach at Atomic Art Tattoo in Portland, OR.

The bird was done first and I got it a little over a year ago. My husband has a matching one (it’s slightly different; more masculine and the Letter “A” inside the heart). The bird is standing on the heart because I really liked the line in the E.E Cummings Poem “I carry your heart with me.” And this is how she integrated it into the tattoo.

The text and our wedding date were done next (a few months ago). “I am my Beloved’s and my Beloved is mine” is from the bible. Song of Solomon 6:3

Joanne is awesome. I told her what I wanted and this is what she came up with and I absolutely love them :)
